Good News Friday, January 22nd 2010

Are you in need of some good news? How about a whole day of it?
Today, Friday 22nd January 2010 is the first ever Good News Friday. We would like you to participate.
For today only Mediaexpress.ie will distribute thousands of news releases for free from Irish businesses, organisations and charities, with just one catch: all the releases must be about something positive.
Already, numerous high profile and enthusiastic radio stations have pledged their support to cover positive stories today, with numerous local stations pledging to cover at least one positive story per hour. See here for details
The sole purpose of Good News Friday is to harness the power of positive thinking to counteract the current gloom. In the midst of the recession many positive news stories are completely ignored because there is so much bad news about.
